Nathan Rhoads, CTP
Nathan brings over 20 years of fleet management experience, with a focus on operations and maintenance in the transportation industry. He has managed fleets at various Fortune 100 companies with a focus on capital strategy, life cycle management, lean practices, and process improvements. Today Rhoads interacts with some of the top private fleets in the country to help develop the best possible practices suited for their maintenance program and individual locations using analytics resources such as ATLAAS (Advanced Truck Life Cycle Administrative Analytics Software). Nathan is Lean Six Sigma certified and attained his Certified Truck Professional Certification (CTP) from the National Private Truck Council in 2016. He is also an active member of the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC).

Safer Roads Start with You – What to Know About CVSA’s Operation Safe Driver Week, July 13–19, 2025

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) introduced Operation Safe Driver Week in 2007 as a critical effort aimed at reducing accidents, fatalities, and injuries across all types of vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks, buses, and automobiles. In partnership with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and leading transportation organizations, this initiative continues to be a cornerstone in promoting road safety. This year, Operation Safe Driver Week is scheduled for July 13–19, 2025. Like last year, law enforcement in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. will focus on reckless, careless, or dangerous driving, pulling over both commercial and passenger vehicle drivers to issue warnings or citations.

CVSA Operation Safe Driver Week, July 7-13th - Raising Awareness and Strengthening Traffic Safety in 2024!

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) introduced Operation Safe Driver Week in 2007 as a critical effort focused on lessening accidents, fatalities, and injuries across all types of vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks, buses, and automobiles. In partnership with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and industry and transportation associations, this initiative remains a major program for advocating road safety. 

Last year, the results of Operation Safe Driver Week were telling. Across the United States and Canada, there were 11,448 stops, which resulted in 4,494 tickets and 5,756 warnings.
