In [Part 1](https://blog.fleetadvantage.com/national-tire-safety-week-is-june-26-july-3rd-1), we discussed the importance of tire pressure monitoring systems and the significance of daily and weekly tire pressure checks. In Part 2, we will dive into implementing safety lanes and the various benefits of properly inflated tires.

Implementing "Safety Lanes" has proven to be an effective strategy for many fleets. Consider setting up safety lanes at the fuel island, where trucks are being fueled up for their routes. Safety lane employees can conduct comprehensive checks to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
